The Chino Valley Historical Society was organized as a new entity with six charter members in November 2003.  CVHS is a private society open to all the people of the community and beyond.

 The Mission Statement and By-Laws were adopted and the first officers elected in February 2004.  In November of 2004 CVHS was incorporated as a non-profit corporation registered with the State of Arizona.
